PURPOSE: A display system and a method for controlling the display system are provided to control each configuration element of a display system by inputting the input of a control command, thereby conveniently controlling each device of the display system. CONSTITUTION: Multimedia reproduction devices(100,105) reproduce multimedia data. Multimedia reproduction devices transmit external device control signals to external devices. A distributor(110) transmits the multimedia data to one or more display devices. The distributor receives the control signals in order to perform a control operation. Display devices display image data. |
