PURPOSE: A touch screen display device and a driving method of the same are provided to ignore sensing spots if the distance between at least two sensing spots is shorter than a reference distance, thereby obtaining a touch screen display device with improved reliability. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen display panel comprises the following units. A plurality of first sensing lines are expanded in the first direction. A plurality of second sensing lines is expanded in the second direction crossing the first direction. A plurality of touch sensing elements are respectively defined in areas where the first and second sending lines cross each other. A lead-out unit(700) outputs one sensing spot as a touch spot.
