PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to display touchable direction menu at left and right of the terminal and enable user's easy manipulation through user interface method. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal comprises a wireless communication unit(110), touch screen unit(120), touch detection unit(130), menu creation unit(140), storage unit(150), transparency control unit(160), and controller(170). The menu creation unit generates touch menu. An interface controller determines touch interface support of the contents when execution command is input. Also, the interface controller controls the menu creation unit when the contents do not support the touch interface. |
