PURPOSE: A filter unit for an air conditioner is provided to improve air purification capability by effectively removing foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A filter unit for an air conditioner comprises a case(10), a filter plate(20) of a honeycomb structure, a fiber yarn filter(30), and an activated carbon(40). An opening is formed on the both sides of the case. The filter plate comprises air vents(21). The fiber yarn filter is installed on one side of the filter plate. The activated carbon is mounted on the gap of the fiber yarn filter and the air vent of the filter plate.
