The driving units of the propulsion unit drive the ship in transit navigation conditions, where each driving unit comprises corresponding speed-reduction gears (8a, 8b) and diesel engines (7a, 7b). A secondary propulsion unit (10) has a hydrojet (11) driven by a third driving unit (12) for moving the ship in military utilization conditions.
