The roof panel has a mobile element (2) mounted along an axis (P1) transversal to the roof panel so as to pivot the mobile element around the axis, where a front end of the mobile element is adjacent to a fixed element (1c). Another mobile element (3) is moved by translation between a horizontal position in an extension of the former element and a retracted position in which the latter element is superimposed with the former element. The former element includes a glass (5) and pivots along 90 degree towards interior of a motor vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a passenger compartment.
