The body shell has a connection element (18) i.e. folded sheet, placed between a glazed window i.e. windscreen, and a window post and maintaining a hub cap (19), where the element is fixed on a wall (44) of the window post. A space (70) is provided between a wall (18a) of the element, and the wall of the post supporting the element. The space has a dimension permitting discharge of water present between the wall of the element and the wall of the post. The wall of the element is oriented towards the post, and another wall (18b) of the element is oriented towards the window.
