PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a molding die and provide a quality molded stator.

SOLUTION: The molded stator is formed by: assembling a board mounted with a drive circuit for driving a motor to the stator of the motor obtained by winding a coil on a stator core 1 provided with an insulation part to obtain a stator assembly 300 of the motor; and molding this assembly with molding resin. The molded stator includes: a protrusion 3a-2-1 extended outward from the axial end face of the anti-connection-side outer circumferential insulation part 3a of the insulation part; and a board retaining part 40 that is attached to the connection-side outer circumferential insulation part with the board 50 in-between when the board 50 is attached to the connection-side outer circumferential insulation part of the insulation part and its multiple protrusions 42 extended outward in the axial direction are coupled together through thin coupling parts 40a. When the stator assembly 300 of the motor is molded with molding resin, the protrusion 3a-2-1 and the protrusions 42 are retained by a die and the stator assembly 300 of the motor is thereby positioned in the axial direction.
