<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that heat radiation effect by a via may be insufficient since the via may separate from a light-emitting element due to deviation of the arrangement position of the light-emitting element from a desired position, because it is difficult to recognize the position of the via when the light-emitting element is arranged on an upper surface electrode which is flat. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a substrate having a main surface, a rear positioned at a side opposite to the main surface, and a hole section passing from the main surface to the rear; a substrate for light-emitting devices having a metal member positioned in the hole section and an electrode member arranged on the main surface of the substrate and electrically connected to the metal member; and a light-emitting element arranged on the electrode member. The electrode member has a projection projecting to the side of the light-emitting element at a portion positioned on the hole section, and the light-emitting element is connected to the projection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
