<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing head in which a printing element substrate is hardly deformed even if the printing head is dropped by mistake. <P>SOLUTION: The printing head comprises: an element substrate in which an energy generating element for generating energy used for ejecting ink is provided; a first sheet-shaped portion to which the element substrate is provided; a second sheet-shaped portion provided away from the first sheet-shaped portion on an opposite side of a direction of ejecting the ink in relation to the first sheet-shaped portion; and a sheet-shaped wall member connecting the first sheet-shaped portion to the second sheet-shaped portion, wherein the wall member has a thickness of a portion connected to the second sheet-shaped portion, which is larger than a thickness of a portion connected to the first sheet-shaped portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
