<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving of an HDD subsystem. <P>SOLUTION: This interface conversion part 10 cuts off power supply voltage to be supplied to an HDD 20 when the supply of bus power from the USB connector 30 is stopped (an output of GPIO-2 port is at an "L" level).
