<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the size of a media update program adding media to a printer driver or a printer becomes large because of increase of media that can be used, size enlargement of profile used for image processing, and diversification of media lineup. <P>SOLUTION: A media update program retrieves necessary media integration information from a region and constitution information which a user selects. Next, the media update program selects necessary media integration information and inputs it, and further information common to these media is shared.
