COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND TRANSFER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the communication which does not go through a representative device from stop working when there occurs a failure in the representative device of a broadcast subnetwork using a link-state for routing, and to shorten the time until switching the communication path of the communication via the representative device to the other device on the subnetwork.

SOLUTION: Both the representative device 11 and the other alternative representative device 12 selected generate link state information about the subnetwork about the broadcast subnetwork. All transfer devices 11 to 13 connected to the subnetwork are configured to include the link to both the link-state information about the subnetwork generated by the respective representative device 11 and the alternative representative device 12.
