<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper folding device which achieves high-quality paper folding at high production efficiency without stopping its paper folding operation and without making a wrinkle or corrugation at a crease; and to provide a post-processing device for an image forming apparatus, with the paper folding device attached thereto. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The paper folding device, having a pair of paper folding rollers pressing each other in a nip zone and a blade moving toward the nip zone of the paper folding roller pair, folds a sheet of paper carried to a position between the paper folding roller pair and the blade; wherein the blade is divided into two in the axial direction of the paper folding roller pair, which are disposed both urged so that their distal ends abut first on both lateral ends of the sheet.
