<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a temperature change of water in an ice making pan is not detected by an infrared sensor, by malfunction and trouble of the infrared sensor, or by breakage of an element itself of the infrared sensor, when electrostatic electricity is generated by friction of a towel or the like when cleaning an inside of an ice making chamber, or electric instantaneous discharge (ESD) is generated by electrostatic electricity charged in a human body, and when discharge energy thereof is applied, and a problem wherein quality of a refrigerator gets low thereby. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a converging opening part 51 penetrated with a shape same to a side face of an infrared converging member 48 in one part of an infrared attaching case 47 for attaching the infrared sensor 13, and a plurality of protrusions 52 projected toward an inside of a box in a circumference of the converging opening part 51, an electrostatic-proof level is enhanced thereby, the breakage and the malfunction of the infrared sensor 13 itself are prevented thereby, and a detection precision of the infrared sensor 13 is also enhanced thereby.
