<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component and its manufacturing method for reinforcing mechanical connection strength between a pin terminal and a winding wire by performing wire joining of the pin terminal and the winding wire without fail. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An end part 103A of the winding wire is bound up near a base end part 104B of the pin terminal 104 by using a thin wire 105 and fixed by using a thin wire winding part 106. By soldering, a solder fillet 107 is so formed as to straddle an end surface 103B of the end part 103A of the winding wire and an end surface 104D of a tipping part 104A of the pin terminal 104, and to coat the thin wire winding part 106. Since the solder infiltrates into a gap between the end part 103A of the winding wire and the pin terminal 104, the end part 103A of the winding wire and the pin terminal 104 are joined without fail.
