<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method and a device for treating organic waste water having a highly efficient defoaming device and mechanism where the performance and reliability of defoaming are high, and a liquid after defoaming does not stick to exhaust ozone gas to foam again. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the waste water treatment device, an electric motor 101 mounted on a contact tank 2 is provided with a rotary blade 105 via a rotary shaft 104, and a defoaming wall 108 is disposed around the rotary blade 105.
