<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element assembly having a configuration and structure, which hardly occur luminance irregularity and color irregularity. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element assembly includes a light emitting member having an upper surface on which a curved surface part for emitting light emitted from a light emitting element is formed. It is defined that an axial line passing the center of the light emitting element is a Z axis and a plane including the center axis of the curved surface part and the Z axis is an XZ plane. When light emitted from an origin at angles (ϕ+¾Δϕ¾/2) and (ϕ-¾Δϕ¾/2) formed with the Z axis on the XZ plane is emitted from the curved surface part at angles (θ+Δθ<SB>+</SB>) and (θ+Δθ<SB>-</SB>) formed with the Z axis, a value of an x coordinate on the center axis of the curved surface part is a positive value, the light emitted from the origin and existing on the Z axis is emitted from the curved surface part at an angle θ<SB>0</SB>(provided that, θ<SB>0</SB>>0) formed with the Z axis, and a function F(ϕ, Δϕ) expressed by F(ϕ, Δϕ)=(Δθ<SB>+</SB>-Δθ<SB>-</SB>)/Δϕ monotonously increases in accordance with the increase of a value of ϕ from a minimum value, reaches a maximum value in ϕ=ϕ<SB>0</SB>(<0), and then monotonously decreases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
