摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element assembly having a configuration and structure, which hardly occur luminance irregularity and color irregularity. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element assembly includes a light emitting member having an upper surface on which a curved surface part for emitting light emitted from a light emitting element is formed. It is defined that an axial line passing the center of the light emitting element is a Z axis and a plane including the center axis of the curved surface part and the Z axis is an XZ plane. When light emitted from an origin at angles (&phiv;+¾&Delta;&phiv;¾/2) and (&phiv;-¾&Delta;&phiv;¾/2) formed with the Z axis on the XZ plane is emitted from the curved surface part at angles (&theta;+&Delta;&theta;<SB>+</SB>) and (&theta;+&Delta;&theta;<SB>-</SB>) formed with the Z axis, a value of an x coordinate on the center axis of the curved surface part is a positive value, the light emitted from the origin and existing on the Z axis is emitted from the curved surface part at an angle &theta;<SB>0</SB>(provided that, &theta;<SB>0</SB>>0) formed with the Z axis, and a function F(&phiv;, &Delta;&phiv;) expressed by F(&phiv;, &Delta;&phiv;)=(&Delta;&theta;<SB>+</SB>-&Delta;&theta;<SB>-</SB>)/&Delta;&phiv; monotonously increases in accordance with the increase of a value of &phiv; from a minimum value, reaches a maximum value in &phiv;=&phiv;<SB>0</SB>(<0), and then monotonously decreases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
