<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of diagnosis of a driving system of an exhaust pipe injector and forcible drive thereof anytime. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU 1 for controlling a diesel engine 10 regenerates DPF 31 by driving an exhaust pipe injector 35 provided in an exhaust pipe 23 of the engine 10 and injecting fuel into the exhaust pipe 23. In the case of diagnosing a driving system whether the driving system of the injector 35 is normal or not by driving the exhaust pipe injector 35, or in the case of forcibly driving the exhaust pipe injector 35 in response to a request from an external tool 59, a fuel cut valve 39 is closed to shut off fuel supply from a fuel pump 13 to the exhaust pipe injector 35. With this structure, even if diagnosis of the driving system of the exhaust pipe injector 35 is performed with timing separate from the timing of regeneration of DPF, or even if forcible drive is performed anytime, excessive injection of fuel into the exhaust pipe 23 is prevented to achieve the subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
