<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the shape in a plate rolling mill in cold-rolling by which the defective plate shape caused by a fluctuation in rolling load, especially the defective plate shape at acceleration and deceleration and the defective plate shape in skid-mark parts are finely controlled. <P>SOLUTION: The plate shape (shape evaluation parameterλ<SB>2</SB>) is estimated from the changeβof a measured mechanical plate crown ratio and linear load p; the deviationΔλ<SB>2</SB>of the shape evaluation parameterλ<SB>2</SB>is calculated from the deviationΔβof the changeβof the mechanical plate crown ratio and the deviationΔp of the change of the line load from the reference state; the controlled variable of work-roll bender force which offsets the shape evaluation parameter deviationΔλ<SB>2</SB>is calculated by using an expression obtained from the multiple regression model of aboveβandλ<SB>2</SB>from this shape evaluation parameter deviationΔλ<SB>2</SB>and the work-roll bender force is controlled so that a desired plate shape is obtained even when the line load fluctuates from the reference line load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
