<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a radiation detector which has a greatly improved hole transportability while maintaining high electron transportability by suppressing variance in rate during vapor deposition. <P>SOLUTION: A method is provided for manufacturing a photoconductive layer for recording of the radiation detector which detects as an electric signal electric charges generated in the photoconductive layer for recording by irradiation with a radiation in a state wherein electrodes are provided on both sides of the photoconductive layer for recording and a predetermined bias voltage is applied between the electrodes. In the method, the photoconductive layer for recording is formed: by heating a vapor-deposition container containing selenium containing a predetermined amount of alkali metal and vapor-depositing selenium containing alkali metal through a porous plate having a temperature control member disposed at a place where no hole is formed; or by heating a vapor-deposition container containing selenium containing no alkali metal and reformed with a compound containing alkali metal and vapor-depositing selenium containing alkali metal through the porous plate having the temperature control member disposed at the place where no hole is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
