<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting optical device for reducing optical loss in synthesizing radiation light rays from a plurality of light sources to improve uniformity of brightness and synthesizing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting optical device includes: a plurality of light sources 1a, 1b each having a light emitting body 9 and a concave mirror 10 for reflecting emitted light rays from the light emitting body and condensing the same; a light synthesizing member 2 disposed in the central part between the plurality of light sources and having reflecting surfaces 2a, 2b reflecting the radiation light rays from the plurality of light sources; and a rod integrator 3 condensing light rays reflected from the reflecting surfaces of the light synthesizing member. The respective focal points 15a, 15b of the radiation light rays from plurality of light sources are positioned outside the reflecting surface and the light incident surface between the reflecting surface of the light synthesizing member and the light incident plane of the rod integrator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
