PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a conventional dynamic pressure pneumatic bearing, dynamic pressure increases proportionally to the number of revolutions of a shaft or a sleeve and power consumption, vibration in operation, noise in operation and electric radiation noise increase. SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure pneumatic bearing includes a shaft on the outer peripheral face of which a helical groove is formed and a sleeve inserted into the shaft with a gap, thus the power consumption, the vibration in operation, the noise in operation and the electric radiation noise are suppressed better than the case in the conventional dynamic pressure pneumatic bearing by gradually increasing the width of the groove from the one end of the groove to the other end.
