PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape forming apparatus that easily positions push-up members for pushing pins in technology of forming a three-dimensional shape using a model constituted of a plurality of arrayed pins. SOLUTION: The shape forming apparatus includes: a three-dimensional model forming part 110 for forming a three-dimensional shape by moving a plurality of axially aligned pins 111 in an axial direction; a plurality of push-up members 115 for pushing ends of the plurality of pins 111 in the axial direction; actuators 120 for moving the push-up members 115 in the axial direction and stopping the movements of the push-up members 115 when the axial positions of the push-up members 115 reach a reference position to position the plurality of push-up members 115; and a power transmission part 130 for transmitting the operations of the actuators 120 to the push-up members 115.
