PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material achieving the flame retardancy UL94V-0 with the content of 0.1 wt.% or less of a halogen and an antimony compound. SOLUTION: A thermosettable resin composition includes (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a thermosetting resin containing a compound having a dihydrobenzoxazine ring as a main component, and (C) a polycondensate of phenols, a compound having a triazine ring, and aldehydes. The composition contains (A) 5 to 80 pts.wt. of the epoxy resin, (B) 5 to 80 pts.wt. of the thermosetting resin having a dihydrobenzoxazine ring, (C) 5 to 80 pts.wt. of the polycondensate of phenols, a compound containing a triazine ring and aldehydes, and (D) 1 to 50 pts.wt. of a reactive phosphorus compound represented by general formula (1) or (2), based on 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of (A), (B) and (C).
