<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly and inexpensively mount a door mirror to a front end position of a window frame of a front door. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the door mirror mounting structure of an automobile, a protruding panel part 12z is provided in a front part of an upper edge of an inner panel, which includes a glass support section 123 which is formed so as to protrude upwardly and can support a guide member 24 of a window glass G from the cabin side, and a mirror support section 121 to which a door mirror 30 is attached. A frame 22 is welded to an upper end of an outer reinforcement, which can support the guide member 24 of the window glass G from the opposite side of the glass support section 123. The door mirror 30 is bolted to an overlapping section of the mirror support section 121 and the frame 22 so that a part 22f of the frame 22 is overlapped with the mirror support section 121.
