The anchor (1) has expanding pin (2) and an expanding sleeve (3) connected with each other as one-piece by a break point (4). The sleeve exhibits an expanding section (5) that is expanded by driving the pin into the expanding section. The sleeve and the pin are separated from each other at the break point in an expanded condition. The pin and the sleeve are partially made of different materials such as plastics. The expanding section includes expanding elements (19) that are connectable with one another by a connecting element (20). A thread (11) of the pin is provided outside of the sleeve.
