PURPOSE: A bicycle charging system and a charging method thereof are provided to safely drive a bicycle by utilizing a portable electronic device, and to ride the bicycle with power produced from the generator without paddling of a rider. CONSTITUTION: A bicycle charging system comprises the following: an inclined angle detecting sensor detecting a downstream driving state and installed on one side of a frame; a waveform shaping part shaping a signal waveform of the inclined angle detecting sensor; a microprocessor determining operation of a generator(4); and a driver driving an electronic clutch intermitting connection of a rotary shaft and a rear shaft.
