PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the catalyst activity of a noble metal-transition metal alloyed catalyst which is combined in polyol reductive reaction while dissolving a noble metal component, a transition metal component and polyol in solvent, adding amine and carboxylic acid in the solution, and adding conductive carrier and organic solvent thereto after recirculation.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell electrode catalyst which is formed of a noble metal-transition metal alloy supported on the conductive carrier supports a catalyst component on the conductive carrier while dissolving the noble metal component, the transition metal component and the polyol in the solvent, adding the aliphatic amine and the aliphatic carboxylic acid into the solution and adding the conductive carrier thereto after recirculation. Its manufacturing method includes a step of applying centrifugal separation with hexane added thereto to remove extra protective colloid produced in polyol reductive reaction.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
