<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide/strip line converter arranged with a strip line intersecting with a short side of a waveguide. <P>SOLUTION: A matching element 7 is formed on the bottom of a dielectric board 1 which closes an opening part 21 of a waveguide 2. On the other hand, on the top of the dielectric board 1, a short-cut plate 3 is formed to short-cut the waveguide 2, and a strip line 5 is formed within a slit 11 of the short-cut plate 3. The strip line 5 and the matching element 7 are electromagnetically connected with each other through the dielectric board 1. The matching element 7 is extended in the direction that a short side 2S of the opening part 21 is inclined, and the strip line 5 is arranged in the direction that the matching element 7 is more inclined. Thereby, the strip line 5 is arranged so as to intersect with the short side 2S of the opening part 21 without remarkably decreasing the conversion efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
