PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder sufficiently washing orifices and ink chambers with a small quantity of an intensification liquid. SOLUTION: The continuous type inkjet recorder forms characters using: a charging electrode for charging ink particles for character signals, the ink particles having been jetted out of the nozzle of the ink chamber formed between a vibration source mounting shaft and the orifice; and a deflecting electrode for deflecting the charged ink particles. Ink particles uninvolved in the character formation are caught in a gutter, returned to a body and reused.
