<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an input/output interruption process to be distributed among IPs and ACs without causing performance degradation by solving such problems as, in conventional technologies, associated performance degradation is brought about although the input/output interruption process can be allocated and distributed among IPs and ACs, relating to a control method which can allocate, for processing, input/output interruption among IPs or ACs without causing performance degradation in an information processing system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: By setting ISC for respective IPs and ACs to an input/output device when carrying out an input/output operation instruction, the input/output interruption process can be allocated to respective IPs and ACs.
