<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an operation and setting change of a PLC (programmable logic controller) from a remote place, or the like by using communication equipment that is introduced at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A communication module 1 includes a control part 2, a memory 3 with a program, a set value, or the like stored, a communication part 4 connected to the Internet, and a connection terminal 5 for connecting to the PLC 20 to be connected to the PLC 20 for use. An e-mail access part 12 of the control part 2 accesses e-mail of a mailbox of a prescribed user of an e-mail server connected to the Internet. An e-mail instruction executing part 14 included in a memory access part 11 of the control part 2 executes read/write processing of memories 3 and 23 of the PLC 20 and the communication module 1 on the basis of information included in an accessed e-mail. With no need of providing a dedicated server, or the like, it is possible to operate the PLC 20, or the like from a remote place, or the like at a low cost by using an e-mail mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
