WASHING AND DRYING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of heat to be wasted and power consumption when warm air is sent into a drum to heat clothes by a blowing-heating means so as to shorten a drying time in spin-drying operation.

SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes: a drum for containing clothes; an outer tank for incorporating the drum; a drive mechanism for rotationally driving the drum; a device for measuring rotational speed of the drum; a circulation air tunnel for circulating the air in the drum; a blowing means provided inside the circulation air tunnel; a heating means provided in the circulation air tunnel; a drive control means for controlling the drive mechanism; and a heat control means for controlling the heating means. In the washing and drying machine, the heating means during spin-drying operation is controlled in accordance with the rotational speed of the drum.
