<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus, which have less wear on a belt member and a fixed member to have high durability by stably maintaining over time a lubricant interposed between the belt member and the fixed member even when the fixed member is brought into slide contact with the inner peripheral surface of the belt member. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricant is interposed between a fixed member 26 and a belt member 21. The fixed member 26 and the belt member 21 have surface layers made of a material containing fluorine, on slide contact surfaces where the members 21 and 26 are brought into slide-contact with each other, and one surface layer 26a is formed so as to be porous, and at least one surface layers 21a is formed so as to have a surface energy greater than a surface tension of the lubricant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
