<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular interior part capable of allowing a development part to be consistently opened during the development and inflation of an airbag, while ensuring the appearance and the fitting quality of the vehicular interior part. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular interior part includes: an interior part fitted to a cabin side of a vehicle body panel; an airbag installed in a space between the vehicle body panel and the interior part; a development unit which is demarcated in a part of an area of the interior part and turned in the developing direction of the airbag to open an opening part; a first locking means, constituted of a first locking piece provided on an end ridge of the development unit, and a first engagement unit which is provided on a fixed part with an end ridge of the development unit being abutted thereon and receives the first locking piece to lock the movement of the development unit in the turning direction; and a second locking means constituted of a second locking piece provided on an end ridge of the development unit, and a second engagement unit which is provided on a fixed part with the end ridge of the development unit which is abutted thereagainst and receives the second locking piece to lock the movement of the development unit in the radial turning direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
