<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately restore a state before the interruption of a main power source when the main power source is supplied during hibernation processing in a sales data processor. <P>SOLUTION: When an AC power source is interrupted, a CPU saves data showing the operating state of a system in a main memory by suspend processing, and saves the data stored in the main memory by hibernation processing in a memory 14 for hibernation, and turns off a backup power source. During hibernation processing, the CPU monitors the state of the AC power source, and when it is detected that the AC power source is put in a supply state during the hibernation processing, the CPU interrupts the hibernation processing, and restores the system to the state just before the interruption of the power source based on data showing the operating state of the system stored in the main memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
