<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a natural and singable song which has a unique melody including accent of a word included in an optional character string in a specific language, and which includes the character string in lyrics. <P>SOLUTION: A song creation device execute a data acquisition program to acquire a character string in a specific language as lyric data. The acquired lyric data is divided into a plurality of blocks B1 to B3 having a meaning group, by a phrase dividing program. A phrase extracting program extracts from a phrase table, melody phrase data F12, F23 and F35 corresponding to the number of sounds and accent of the word included in each block by referring to an accent database, and creates music data by arranging the extracted data in an order of arranging the blocks B1 to B3 by a music creation program.
