PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soles which can be manufactured with no requirement for a plurality of injection molding and of which signs of wear can be found and shoes provided with the soles. SOLUTION: The sole is provided with a plurality of grounding blocks which have grounding faces to a floor face and are vertically provided independently and connection parts provided on a space across a pair of the adjoining blocks or a plurality of the pairs of the grounding blocks selected and having a height lower than the grounding faces of the blocks. When the grounding blocks are worn through abrasion, the grounding face of the grounding block joins up together with those of other adjoining blocks via the connection part. The heights of the faces of the blocks become equal to that of the connection part through the abrasion to join up together with, thereby allowing a decrease of anti-slip properties to be found.
