PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure regulating device capable of increasing secondary pressure after regulating and improving refrigerating capacity and pull down performance by increasing discharge pressure of a compressor during overload of a refrigerating device to near an allowable value of the maximum discharge pressure. SOLUTION: This pressure regulating device 7 includes an inlet 11 and an outlet 12 formed in a valve body 10, a valve seat 17 provided between the inlet 11 and the outlet 12 inside the valve body 10, a valve element 19 for coming in contact and separating from the valve seat 17 to open and close the valve seat 19, a bellows (operator) 21 for applying force in the closing direction to the valve element 19 by primary pressure introduced from the inlet 11, a pressure regulating valve 8 equipped with a coil spring (biasing means) 25 for biasing the valve element 19 in the opening direction, and an actuator 9 for closing the valve element 19 when receiving pressure of a prescribed value or higher that is higher than the primary pressure by applying the pressure on the bellows 21 of the pressure regulating valve 8.
