PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable multi-branched compound which has such a structure that molecular chains develop from a core molecule as a base point in a dendric form and acrylate groups bind to the end of each molecular chain, exhibits a high curing rate and a low degree of polymerization shrinkage, and is easily produced in high purity and excellent in the impact resistance, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The polymerizable multi-branched compound has a structure obtained by alternately performing a Michael addition of a thiol having only one hydroxyl group on an acrylate group, as a base point, of a core molecule having two or more acrylate groups and the formation of urethane bond by isocyanate having two or more acrylate groups.
