PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella stand which can be handled more easily, be shortened when it is out of use and hold a plurality of objects. SOLUTION: A pair of right/left support rods 10 are provided which incline towards back, a pair of right/left rod-style supporting legs 30 which are connected with each support rods 10 so that they may cross across each of the vertical center of the support rods 10 from a lateral view and are located back beyond the support rods 10 and an umbrella holding frame 20 which has each back sides connected with the upper ends of each of the support rods 10 and has one or more umbrella insertion opening 23. Members other than the pair of right/left support rods 10 including the pair of right/left rod-style supporting legs 30 and the umbrella holding frame 20 are located horizontally inside of the pair of right/left support rods 10.
