<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone service system and telephone service method in which burden increase of costs or the like is suppressed and criminal damage caused by telephone can be prevented. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A telephone service system includes a telephone directory database 13 storing a name of an owner of a telephone and a telephone number and a management server 12 storing a contact destination of a protector and a telephone number of a person to be protected. Further, when there is call incoming to the person to be protected stored beforehand, the management server 12 investigates a name of a calling source by referring to the telephone directory database 13. If the name of the calling source is unknown, contents of a speech between this calling source and the person to be protected and a telephone number of the calling source are recorded.
