COLOR CONVERSION ORGANIC EL DISPLAY

Provided is a high-efficiency and long-life color conversion organic EL display without using a metal mask with a definition problem and an expensive laser scanner.  The color conversion organic EL display comprises an organic EL substrate that includes a substrate; a lower reflecting electrode; a bank; an organic EL layer which consists of plural portions sandwiched between the lower reflecting electrode and an upper transparent electrode and separated by the bank and comprises at least a light-emitting layer consisting of a polymeric material; the upper transparent electrode; and a color conversion layer separated by the bank.  The color conversion organic EL display is characterized in that the organic EL substrate is formed by aligning and bonding the EL substrate which comprises pixel regions separated by the bank, and a color filter substrate in which a black matrix and color filters are pattern-formed on a transparent substrate in a photo process and which comprises pixel regions separated by the black matrix, in such a manner that the pixel regions of the EL substrate and the pixel regions of the color filter substrate are opposite to each other.
