<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB memory 1 for facilitating file management. <P>SOLUTION: The USB memory includes: a USB terminal unit 14 to be connected to a host device 2, a main unit 11 which incorporates therein a NAND memory 10 and a processor module 13 which manages data stored in the NAND memory 10; and a rotation portion 12 which changes a relative position between the main unit 11 and the USB terminal unit 14. The processor module 13 switches an access management mode for managing access to the NAND memory 10 of the host device 2 to a first access management mode or a second access management mode depending on the relative position, wherein the data stored under the first access management mode is rendered inaccessible to the host device 2 with the second access management mode, and the data stored under the second access management mode is rendered inaccessible to the host device 2 with the first access management mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
