<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking robot and a picking system, capable of reliably reading an IC tag attached to an article being picked up. <P>SOLUTION: The picking robot 10 picks a workpiece W with the IC tag attached thereto. The picking robot 10 has an ID reader 15 and a hand 12. The ID reader 15 has a loop antenna 15a formed thereon to acquire information on an RFID tag.
