PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system, using a time division duplex method which improves flexibility in setting the uplink and downlink ratios per frame, without reducing the data transmission amount per frame. SOLUTION: A master device 10a has a configuration part 17, which sets at least one of the ratios of downlink slots and uplink slots in a unit wireless frame, and a first transmission part 12, which transmits the downlink slot including the ratio information to the slave device. The slave device 20a is composed of a receiving part 23a, which receives the downlink slot; a first table 30a which indicates a transmission start timing and a transmission capacity according to the ratio information;and a second transmission part 22a which transmits an uplink slot corresponding to the transmission capacity, according to the ratio information to the master device 10a at the transmission start timing, according to the ratio information included in the downlink slot based on the first table 30a.
