<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which when a sealing material for sticking a TFT substrate to a counter substrate is formed on the counter substrate by screen printing, thereby preventing the occurrence of unevenness caused by a mesh. <P>SOLUTION: A light shielding film 202 is extended to the lateral direction and arrayed in the longitudinal direction. A red color filter 201R, a blue color filter 201B and a green color filter 201G are extended to the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals. The blue color filter 201B is also extended to the lateral direction while covering the light shielding film. The upper surface of the light shielding film 202 is higher than those of other portions by the thicknesses of the blue color filter 201B and the light shielding film 202 in the cross sections along the red color filter 201R and the green color filter 201G. When screen printing is performed, the higher portions become stoppers of the mesh, thereby preventing the occurrence of unevenness due to the mesh. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
