<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable and accurate time synchronization and clock frequency synchronization even in such a network environment that much jitter caused by congestion is present between a client device and a server device. <P>SOLUTION: The client device 1 for causing the server device 2 to synchronize their time or clock frequency by controlling the server device in such a manner that a difference in time between the client and the server 2 becomes constant, includes an RTT calculator 15 for extracting a plurality of signals transferred between the client 1 and the server 2 and calculating an RTTs (Round trip times) of such signals as samples, a variation determiner 16 for determining a variation in the RTTs calculated by the RTT calculator 15, and a samples count adjuster 17 for adjusting a samples count on the basis of a result determined by the variation determiner 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
