PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer color adjustment method which can easily make a color adjustment according to a characteristic of paper of the inkjet printer. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer color adjustment method has a paper type selection step of selecting a paper type for inkjet printer printing, a correction chart-printing step of printing a correction chart of the selected paper type, and a correction information registration step of selecting a specific image from the correction chart and registering the correction information by inputting the correction information corresponding to the image. An identification of a plurality of images composing the correction chart is expressed by a Lab color coordinate system, and information of the Lab color coordinate system identifying a specific image is input as correction information. By selecting a specific image, a variation of respective output values corresponding to axis a and/or axis b of the Lab color coordinate system for a variation of input values is set to include an extreme value, and the extreme value is set to approach each of a=zero and/or b=zero.
